Radio production involves the recording and 

creation of content for broadcasts. Those interested in a formal education in this area can enroll in a Basic certificate program that discusses audio engineering, speaking fundamentals, scriptwriting and media research methods.

 

Basic certificate students learn about television broadcasting and production, radio equipment and computer software, radio formats and target audience identification methods. Associate's curriculum is an overview of the communications industry as a whole, with classes in editing, programming, performing perspectives, media writing, production planning and audio techniques. Direct experience is gained through internships with Nigerian webradio.

Basic certificate in Radio production can be earned in approximately six months.
